circus, circus!

 i started reading "Water for Elephants" this week, it's an enjoyable and easy read...plus i love almost anything pertaining to the circus, and really, it's freaks.

  i even watched hbo's short-lived series, Carnivale, and still wish it hadn't been canceled.

but if you really want to see a great flick about circus freaks you have to check out Freaks

i heart my friends

i am a lucky girl and have some great friends...sadly most of them live all over the place including singapore....my friend y. sent me this book by avery monsen and jory john, which is now making the rounds on other blogs....

it is full of funny illustrations of characters (including a pirate!) who've lost all their friends...it's a cute reminder to appreciate your friends. thanks y!
