this gets me in the mood for a great holiday party. i wish i had the occasion to dress up more. mare and i tried to choose from as many indpendent/small business as we could in honor of small business saturday.  can't wait to get some christmas shopping done! hope the holiday was great for everyone! enjoy the rest of the weekend!

mustard yellow and polka dots...how could you go wrong...i'd probably wear this scarf with jeans, t-shirt, cardigan, and flats most days. But this is what i'd like to imagine i would wear if i wasn't resorting to my stand-by uniform...looks comfy and cute. have a great weekend!!!

i love cold weather.  or really, i love scarves and cardigan and layers.

have you ever watched "grey gardens"?  the documentary is on my netflicks, i just can't bring myself to watch it..their story is so sad and depressing.   i've only seen the hbo version (starring drew barrymore) which was ok but i am excited about this book!  it was put together by one of the documentary directors daughters, might be worth checking out!

my daydream for this outfit would include weather that was not too cold nor too hot so i could wear my jacket and scarf...i would love to be riding through the park on my bike looking at fall leaves. (mariana is laughing right now about my ability or lack of to ride a bike in clogs) when i found a nice place i'd park my bike and spread my scarf out for a nap.

in this outfit i could see myself running errands with girlfriends...and by errands i mean things like getting a mani/pedi, browsing the jewelry at youngblood, and drinking on a patio. this outfit is cute, simple but not boring, and comfortable. while i am not wearing this outfit currently i am going to find a patio...cheers!
