PHEW!
and we're back! with a big congrats to mariana and bobby who are officially wed! it was an amazing weekend and i can't wait for mare to share all the great images. i am so happy i got to be a part of it. we will slowly be getting back to regular blogging schedule just in time to start planning my fast approaching wedding :) hopefully we will get around to some of the changes and projects we've been talking about too.

goodbye, hello
i've been absent this last week while saying goodbye to my grandfather. my grandmother passed a couple years ago. i hope you don't mind if i share these amazing photos of them in their younger days. they look like movie stars to me. So in love and full of style. they made adventures out of the everyday. it inspires me and seem to fit with what we do here. it struck me this past week that when someone leaves us we spend time looking back at their life and often you find through old photos like these you meet them again...a different them but still there they are with so much left to tell. so for me it's like discovering my grandfather all over again. it's a beautiful thing.

i need to tell you something
i feel like i'm going crazy, but apparently that's normal for someone roughly a month away from getting married (eeeeeeeeee!). with all that i have to do i have grossly neglected the blog, my apologies! i will try to keep posting, but they might just be pretty pictures or things i want, or things that distract me from picking out table linens and such. sure, that may sound not too different from what i already do, but i wanted to explain why the posts may seem exceptionally random. i have so many posts in the works for after the wedding...diy projects and pictures galore, as well as "assembled goods"! stay tuned, it will be awesome!

i love bobby, but this valentines day i am all about Jezebel. we are sitting outside as i put this post together, she is patiently waiting to go on the promised hike. i wish i had more pictures of her, but for those of you who know my dog, you know that she is deathly afraid of cameras. that must be why i keep looking at these prints (that and they are amazing...)
