with new years eve fast approaching i've been thinking about what to do, who to do it with and, of course, what to wear. this year i don't have the time (or money) to go out and find a new outfit...but i did find this shop...and i think it is just the thing i was looking for!

sorry for the late post. it's also going to be a short one. i have been super busy with work (re-opening the i manage) and with the holiday pretty much here, things are crazy! here are a few poorly taken pictures of what i've been up to...
katie and i made these little stocking for everyone at the store...i love them all!
we also made this clever sign, haha
and this year i didn't even have to spend tons of money on wrapping paper (guilty pleasure), i used butcher block and twine i've had for awhile...and finally tried making a potato stamp!
and lastly, you might remember my post on which holiday drink to make? i decided on the bourbon and blood orange, instead of using mint i went with rosemary and it was wonderful!

another dream job would be curating a shop full of my favorite finds. we stumbled on the cool hunting for gap pop up shop on our walk down 5th ave. it was full of locally sourced goods and i spotted lots of my favorites. great stop for last minute shopping.
bergdorf windows
on my long list of dream jobs is designing store windows. the bergdorf windows are famous. andy and i had a great time walking through central park and down 5th ave. to look at all the lights and windows. these blew me away. they were full of cut paper sculptures and amazing details. i'd like my very own cut paper version of my pup penny. sorry for the glare.

bliss/year in ideas
i've been blissfully away from the internet this week while i am visiting my brand new nephew. have you noticed how awesome little toes and fingers are?!?
